This is an opportunity for parents/carers to meet me, see my therapy room and find out what I do. For me, it's where I find out more about the young person and the challenges they are facing.
After the initial assessment, we arrange a weekly session. The consistency of this is paramount to the work. It's a confidential space where the young person can use different mediums to explore thoughts and feelings.
This is a chance for other family members to be invited into the therapy session, as it's often beneficial to work with the family as a whole to help the individual.
