ABOUT ME
More information
I have 10 years counselling experience and a lifetime of playing with and supporting children.

Every child will experience ups and downs through their early years but when their problems start getting in the way of their everyday life, that is when they may need additional support.
However, children can find it difficult to talk about things, so instead will display behavioural issues that alert the adults around them that something is not right. In turn, this behaviour can affect the child’s development, emotional well-being, relationships and education. In struggling to cope with their emotions, children can show signs of anxiety, anger, aggression or fear.

This is where counselling and play therapy can help. It gives the child the opportunity to express themselves in their own way. My approach is child-led, and with the use of creative materials and toys they can work through their feelings and thus try to process and understand what is going on.
I will provide a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space in which to help them view things from another standpoint, build resilience and give them techniques for coping.
